The International Conference on Basic Science and Its Application (ICBSA) 2018 is the first international conference organized by the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Andalas University. This conference encourages submission of research findings on basic sciences, pharmaceuticals, medicine, agriculture and technology from faculty, researchers, and students from undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels. ICBSA 2018 creates a great platform for participants to share experiences, discuss research findings and acquire the desired knowledge for translating basic science into technology and stimulating multi- and interdisciplinary international collaborations in a convergent-manner for shaping a worldwide sustainable development.
This meeting aimed to promote mutual exchange between scientists also experts, to discuss innovative ideas in scientific research, and to tackle the contemporary problems through the application of knowledge that stem from research works in basic science and its application. This conference also provides a forum for national and international academia, scientist, researchers and professional to share their idea and experiences to translate basic science into technology and help stimulate interdisciplinary international collaborations in a convergent-manner for shaping a worldwide sustainable development.
